During his time at University Hall, Curtis embarked on a journey of academic investigation, demonstrating that young people need not feel locked into a single course of study from the outset. His educational trajectory saw him complete multiple degrees, including a Bachelor of Arts, Honours in Political Science and International Relations, a Master of Public Policy, and a Master of Secondary Teaching, graduating in successive years from 2018 to 2023.

Beyond the classroom, Curtis embraced the vibrant collegiate life at University Hall with gusto. He held various leadership positions within the ResClub, serving as the Intercollege Representative in 2017, President in 2018, Resident Assistant (RA) in 2019, 2020 to 2021. His involvement extended to the Pathways to Leadership program in 2017, further honing his leadership skills and fostering personal development.

This rich tapestry of experiences at University Hall laid the foundation for Curtis's career as a secondary school HASS (Humanities and Social Sciences) teacher at Shenton College. Drawing on the knowledge, skills, and connections cultivated during his time at UWA and University Hall, Curtis found himself well-equipped to inspire and educate the next generation of young minds.

Reflecting on his time at University Hall, Curtis emphasizes the invaluable flexibility afforded by the collegiate environment. Curtis encourages incoming residents to seize every opportunity to immerse themselves in college life, participate in diverse programs, forge connections, and above all, savour the experience.
